The EQAC - Education Quality Accreditation Commission, grants recognition of educational quality to all the institutions that meet their standards through a voluntary, non-governmental guided self-regulation that is called accreditation. Accreditation of an institute guarantees that the learning offered by that institute is of uniform and sound quality. The accreditation from the Education Quality Accreditation Commission want to relate each educational institution own structure and procedures with an efficient way to guarantee their accountability.
The Education Quality Accreditation Commission (EQAC) was established with a mission to promote the development and maintenance of educational quality and ethical standards in higher education and training programs. The development was made possible by means of standard-setting, evaluation, and consultation processes. The Education Quality Accreditation Commission identifies and accredits educational and training institutions that have attained and maintained the standards deemed necessary to operate according to our established education quality and accreditation criteria. The EQAC is committed to promote high standards of education, to recognize professional excellence, and to provide an invaluable guide to education quality and recognition in the complex sector of worldwide education.
As per EQAC, an eligible institution must be any kind of organization, entity or company properly authorized to conduct higher educational teaching and certification, to award postsecondary degrees, certificates or other educational or professional credentials. The entities eligible for accreditation must prepare individuals to achieve competencies and attain the educational qualifications necessary to begin functioning in a specific occupation.
Any educational institution seeking accreditation by the EQAC must demonstrate through the application for accreditation and self assessment report (SSR) that it meets EQAC's standards.
The Education Quality Accreditation Commission provides the applicant educational institution with a thoughtful guidance to assist the institution in finding its own approaches and solutions and meet the EQAC standards. The Commission makes a clear distinction between what is required for accreditation and what is recommended for improvement of the educational institution.
The evaluation of each standard is graded according to the following scale:

Asian College of Teachers (ACT) undertakes a continuous review of its teacher training courses to ensure imparting high quality education. However, there might be circumstances outside of ACT’s control which might affect its stakeholders like if you are planning to teach in a different country, applying for a teaching license, pursuing higher studies or trying to get the certificate approved by the Ministry of Education (MoE) of a particular country then you can do so with the certificate issued by Asian College of Teachers (ACT). However, each country’s Ministry of Education (MoE) or educational bodies set certain standards that are indispensable for the pursuit of higher studies or teaching in schools in that country. So it can be a possibility that you may be able to use the certificate for higher studies or teaching purposes in one country and not in another. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you investigate thoroughly and check with the relevant authorities regarding the acceptance of the certificate issued by us before you enrol on a particular course. ACT strives to offer high-quality education and its certificates can be valuable for various purposes internationally, but still it is crucial for individuals to verify the specific recognition of the certificate in the country they intend to use it, especially for formal education or professional licensing purposes. This approach ensures that the stakeholders make informed decisions regarding their educational and career paths.
